We are of this earth.

I'm convinced that 90% of my anxiety purely exists because of a disconnect from nature. For the first time in my life I'm living in the heart of a great city and, as much as I have fallen in love with this city of roses, I think being so paved in makes me a little crazy sometimes. So I'm launching a mission to get outside more, to go on more adventures, to continue my studies of plant and movement medicine, developing practices and products to bring the power of earth healing indoors, to create more access points to nature within the city. I am rejecting the term "busy" and unlearning the idea that the more we fit into one day, the more important or accomplished we must be. I am also practicing gratitude for the amount of nature that actually CAN be found within the city. As my friend and teacher Annie Adamson says, We are not just on this earth, we are of this earth. It is our birthright to live and move and breathe and love and fully experience the time that we have here.
